CAUTION

If you purchased the device after January 2024, your firmware is already up to date, and no update is required.
If you need a firmware update under special circumstances, please contact our tech support team. We will provide the necessary files and instructions.

Please confirm the current firmware version of the P-1M2:
First, ensure that there are no files in the root directory of the storage card. While the device is powered off, press and hold both the power button and the anchor button until you hear three short beeps, followed by one long beep. The device will then power off, indicating that the current configuration file has been successfully exported. The configuration file "INFO.TXT" will be saved in the root directory of the storage card.
If the version displayed in "INFO.TXT" matches the latest available version, we strongly recommend that you DO NOT repeat the upgrade.

How to Upgrade

1. Make sure there are no files under the root directory of the MicroSD card. In the power-off state. Connect P-1 Mark II with PC via the data cable. Copy the firmware file”P-1M2.BIN” to the root directory of the MicroSD card, and eject the device. Disconnect P-1 Mark II Pro with PC.
(Do not rename the file"P-1M2.BIN")

2. In the power-off state, press the "Power button" and the "POI button" simultaneously until you hear 3 short beeps, and the three indicators begin to flash in sequence. After about 1 minute, P-1M2 will be turned off with a long beep, which indicates that the firmware has been successfully upgraded.
If there is no automatic shutdown after a long beep, or after upgrading, P-10 Pro cannot be turned on. please press the reset button next to the MicroUSB connector.

   

How to Handle a Firmware Upgrade Failure

During the firmware upgrade process, the device may fail to boot after the upgrade due to various reasons such as incomplete firmware files, incompatible storage cards, unexpected power loss, or removal of the storage card.
