Firmware Update Guide for Columbus V-1000

Before updating, please check the firmware version number of your V-1000: "SETTINGS" ¡ª "Setup"¡ª¡°System info¡±¡ª"FW".
There's no need to update in case of the same version as your device.

If the firmware updating is necessary. Please make sure to do the updating work as the following steps.

CAUTION: The device may be disabled caused by incorrect operation such as in wrong updating order!!!

1. Fully charge the device.

2. Backup all of the tracks to PC. ¡¡
3. Enter "SETTINGS" ¡ª "Setup" ¡ª "Factory Reset", select "Yes".
¡¡
4. Copy the firmware file ¡°V1000.BIN¡± to the root directory of V-1000, then plug out the USB cable.
¡¡
5. Enter ¡°Menu¡± ¡ª ¡°Setup¡± ¡ª ¡°Firmware Update¡±, select ¡°Confirm¡±.
¡¡
6. The screen displays "Updating...", after the automatically restart, delete the "V-1000.BIN" in the root directory of V-1000. Updating done.
